Terms of Use
Throne Of Numbers · version 1 · last updated
Throne Of Numbers (the app) is developed and operated by Alexander Zelenyak ("we", the operator). These terms are the rules for display names and for how players report and block each other. The app asks you to accept them on first launch, before you start playing. What data we keep is described in the Privacy Policy.
Your display name is public
On first launch the server gives you a generated name such as
brave-otter-1234. You can change it in Settings. Your display name is visible to
all players: in the records table, as the holder of the world record and as the player who
advanced the stage.
A name is 1 to 24 characters long: Latin letters, digits, _, - and
single spaces between words. The server rejects names that contain prohibited words, also
when they are disguised with digits, separators, repeated letters or mixed case, and names
that contain reserved words such as staff names, "deleted player" or "blocked player". The
app does not say which word was rejected.
What is not allowed
Your display name must not contain or suggest:
- insults, harassment or bullying of anyone;
- hate speech: attacks on people for their race, ethnicity, religion, disability, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation or similar traits;
- sexual content;
- threats or calls to violence;
- impersonation of other players, of Throne Of Numbers staff or of brands;
- spam or advertising;
- personal data of other people, such as their real name, phone number or address.
Reporting and blocking players
Tap a player's row in the records table, or the line with the world record holder, to open
a menu with two separate actions: Report player and Block player.
Your own rows and rows of deleted players ("deleted player") have no menu.
Report. Choose a reason: Offensive name,
Impersonation or Other. The report keeps the name the player had at
that moment. Reports are seen only by the operator; the reported player is not told who
reported them. You can send up to 20 reports in 24 hours.
Block. A blocked player's name is hidden only for you: you see
"blocked player" instead. Other players still see the name, and the blocked player's records
stay on the board. You can block up to 500 players and unblock them in Settings, under
Blocked players. Blocking does not notify the blocked player.
What we do about violations
- A name containing prohibited or reserved words is refused when you try to set it. Other violations are handled through reports.
- We can reset a name to a new generated one. This also happens automatically, without waiting for the operator, when enough different players report the same current name.
- For repeated or serious violations we reset the name and lock name changes for the account. The lock affects only the name: you can keep playing, and your records stay.
- If a report turns out to be unfounded, we dismiss it and change nothing.
The operator reviews reports as a rule within 7 days of receiving them.
Contact and appeals
For questions about these terms, to report content outside the app, or to appeal a name reset or a lock on name changes, write to Alexander Zelenyak at zzz.sochi@gmail.com. Include your current display name, exactly as shown in the game, so we can find your account.
Age
Throne Of Numbers is intended for players aged 16 and over. Do not use the app if you are under 16. If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 16, we delete it.
Changes to these terms
You accept these terms in the app on first launch. When the terms change, this page gets a new version number and a new "last updated" date, and the updated app asks you to accept the new version again the first time you launch it after the update. Until you update the app, you can keep playing, but you cannot change your name or send reports.
